Overall winner:

In addition to the £5,000GBP top prize:

    • You will have the opportunity to see your work displayed at the Mall Galleries, London in a free-to-enter, public exhibition, giving your work high-profile exposure. This is intended to help publicise your creativity and also encourage and inspire others to develop their skills in food photography for the following year.
    • Your image will be appreciated by some of the leading figures in the photography and food industries during the judging process
    • A dedicated post will be added to our website showing an in depth profile of the overall winner featuring the winning image
    • You will receive a dedicated press release promoting your image to international photography and food media
    • Your hard work and creativity will be credited wherever the image is used and will be seen by millions of people across the globe

 

Category winners:

  • All category winners will receive a prestigious trophy.
  • You will have the opportunity to see your work displayed at the Mall Galleries, London in a free-to-enter, public exhibition, giving your work high-profile exposure. This is intended to help publicise your creativity and also encourage and inspire others to develop their skills in food photography for the following year. 
  • Please note: This prize may not be redeemed in the following countries - India, Mauritius, Ukraine, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Holy See (Vatican City State), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of), Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands - U.S., Viet Nam, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna, Samoa, Yemen, Mayotte, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe
  • The winner and two runners up of the Student Food Photographer of the Year category will receive an RPS Membership, worth £56. The winning student will have their work and an interview published by the award-winning RPS Journal in either the Journal Extra Newsletter or the RPS Journal.
  • In addition, the winner of the Student Food Photographer of the Year category will have the unique opportunity to have a 60 minute one-to-one Zoom meeting with Commercial Photography Consultant and Mentor, Zoe Whishaw. This will include:
    • Website review
    • Analysis of creative direction
    • Options and ideas to take career forwards
  • The Winners of both age groups (12 & Under, 13-17) of the Jamie Oliver Youth Prize will be invited to attend the Jamie Oliver Headquarters, London, accompanied by a parent/guardian. The date, time and itinerary of such visits to be subject to the Category Sponsor’s discretion and schedule. If required, a contribution of maximum £500 per winner will be made towards travel and accommodation costs to attend to attend the Jamie Oliver Headquarters, subject to receipt of valid expense receipts/invoices.

 

Finalists:

    • All category Finalists will be invited to attend the glittering VIP Awards Evening Reception for the announcement of Winners, to be held at the Mall Galleries, London. (Travel and accommodation costs not included.)

 
Where a prize is offered by a Third Party, Food Photographer of the Year Ltd is not bound to deliver the exact prize that has been offered by the Third Party if unforeseen events should take place to prevent delivery, but will do its utmost to ensure that a similar prize is delivered instead. No monetary compensation will be offered.
