The Guild of Food Writers is the UK’s only association for professional food writers and broadcasters.
It acts as a diverse and encouraging network for authors, broadcasters, columnists, content creators and journalists to share their knowledge and experience. The Guild also runs a busy programme of events, including an annual award ceremony to honour the best in writing and broadcasting.
In acknowledging how much photography so often enriches and illuminates the words we write, the Guild is delighted to befriend and support The World Food Photography Awards.

A youth activist movement challenging a food system that’s been set up to fool us all.
From the moment we are born junk food has us surrounded. At a time when 1 in 3 of the UK's children are at risk of developing food related illnesses like Type 2 Diabetes and Heart Disease in their futures. The good news? It’s totally preventable. And we’re biting back.
We empower young people to raise their voices and fight the injustices in our food system. Through national campaigns and grassroots projects in schools and communities, we aim to transform the system and protect every child’s right to grow up healthy.
